Description :
The Advanced VLSI program at IIVT, India is a 4 month state -of-the-art program at a fairly advanced level getting into depths of integrated circuit (IC) Design techniques. There are 2 tracks offered - Logic Design & Physical Design. Engineer can choose ONE of these tracks. By focusing in one area, engineer gains valuable experience in a specific area and becomes an asset to the company once employed.

IIVT is affiliated to Intercultural Open University, Netherlands. Credits earned in this 4 month program can be applied to the 1 year Master's degree program in Computer Engineering. IIVT is a member of the ALTERA University Program. (ALTERA is a major company in the semiconductor industry).

We offer a "Study Now, Pay After Placement" system. This is better than a
guarantee!
A registration fee, though, of Rs.10,000/- is required. The balance fees are
Rs.65,000/- and is to be paid when an appropriate appointment letter is given. An affidavit is to be
prepared by the student in this regard. See Section on fees, below.

Ist Class students with good analytical & communication skills. Students
awaiting Final Year results must have 57% in VII Semester on first attempt.
We are also taking Diploma Students with Distinction for Back-end VLSI. (The Diploma students will take the Module on VLSI Layout & Verification plus a project on full-custom layout).
Entrance Test Required (Based on Analytical skills). For out-of-station students, this test can be conducted by telephone. All tests are recorded. Test may be exempted for those who have given GATE or for those with exceptional academic record.
PLAN A : The course fees are Rs. 75,000/- . Of this, Rs. 10,000/- is to be paid at the time of registration (2 weeks before the start date). The balance of Rs. 65,000/- is to be paid upon getting an appointment letter from a company in the VLSI field.
This does not include fees for Lodging / Boarding at our Lonavala Campus. The costs for Lodging / Boarding are:
Rs. 2,000/- per month per student for neat & clean accomodation
Meals at Rs. 3,000/- per month per student (3 meals a
day).
Fees for Lodging / Boarding are payable monthly during the course. (It is not compulsory to take our lodging / boarding - you may find anything alternate that is suitable for you).
Course Materials fees:
Rs. 500/- per module. There are 4
modules in all. Total : Rs. 2,000/-
Agreement - You will need to give a written statement on a stamped paper stating that balance fees ( Rs. 65,000/- ) will be paid in full within one week of getting the appointment letter. We could send you the format of this agreement by email.
PLAN A Eligibility: BE or MSc Electronics, Computer Engineering with Ist Class or Diploma with Distinction. Candidates who are awaiting final year results must have at least 57% in VII Semester on first attempt.
PLAN B: In collaboration with Silicon Interfaces, Mumbai. Certain graduates who pass aptitude tests of Silicon Interfaces are given appointment letters from this company BEFORE the course begins. For these students, the total fees are Rs. 70,000/- . This is split into 3 installments of 20k (before course begins); 25k (after 1st month) and 25k (after 2nd month).

PLAN B Eligibility: BE Electronics, Computer Engineering, Instrumentation, BSc Physics graduates who have passed out PRIOR to 2004. Must take aptitude test + Interview with Silicon Interfaces. Outstanding Diplomas can also be considered.
PLAN C: Those graduates who do not meet the requirements of PLAN A or PLAN B could take the course with fees of Rs. 75,000/- payable in 3 installments of 25k each. First installment is due at the time of registration, 2nd one month after course begins, 3rd installment is due 2 months after course begins.

PLAN D: Enrol for the 1 year Master's degree program in Computer Engineering with focus on VLSI Design. Degree awarded by Intercultural Open University, Netherlands. Total fees 1.8 lakhs. In 4 installments - quarterly.
Lodging / Boarding as above. Course Materials: Rs. 500/- per module. Totally, 10 modules are required to be completed for the Master's degree.
Eligibility: BE Electronics, Computer, Instrumentation, BSc Physics with good aptitude.
